Southern Cut was founded in Huntersville on a simple frustration: the best outdoor projects were being compromised in the gaps between people. A designer draws it, a contractor bids it, a sub pours it — and somewhere in those handoffs the vision thins out, accountability disappears, and the homeowner is left mediating between crews.
We built the opposite. Every Southern Cut landscape is drawn, engineered, and installed by one in-house team. The designer who walks your property is part of the same company as the crew that sets your final stone, so the plan you approve is the property you get. There is one number to call, one point of accountability, and one standard applied from the first sketch to the last detail.
That discipline shows up most in the parts you never see. We obsess over base preparation, drainage, and grading — the unglamorous engineering that decides whether a patio still sits flawless a decade from now or heaves after its first wet Carolina winter.
